Why I Changed the Rep Program (And What It Still Means to Me)

ree

After two years of holding space for my current team, I’m finally opening the doors again—with a fresh structure and a full heart.

It’s been almost two years since I accepted new reps into the SG Rep Program.

Not because I didn’t want to—trust me, I’ve read every DM and message asking how to join—but because I had exactly who I needed. The reps I’ve worked with these past few years became something more than just clients. They’ve been my bonus kids. My creative muses. My people. I poured into them, and they poured right back.

But after time to reflect (and countless sweet messages asking when the program would open again), I realized something: it’s time.

Time to welcome new faces.Time to evolve the program.Time to build something more intentional—for the next chapter.

Let’s Clear This Up: Rep vs. Four Seasons Senior

I get this question all the time, so let’s break it down:

  • Four Seasons Senior: This is a portrait experience where we shoot once per season—Fall, Winter, Spring, and Cap + Gown. It’s perfect for seniors who want consistent content and creative variety throughout the year, but it’s a booked client experience.

  • SG Rep Program: This is a team. A role. A connection. Reps not only receive a personal senior session, but they’re also part of styled shoots, team features, creative projects, and behind-the-scenes moments. They’re part of the brand and the vision of SG Photography. And in return, they agree to represent my business, share their experience, and show up with heart.

Both options are incredible. It just depends on what kind of experience you want.

So... What’s New?

The SG Rep Program has officially been restructured—and elevated.

To keep it clear and intentional, I’ve created two tiers:Standard Rep and Elite Rep

Each one includes photo sessions, styled shoots, exclusive access, and special perks—but in a way that gives YOU more choice. You can keep it simple, or go all in. Either way, you’ll be part of a creative team with purpose and direction.

And yes, it’s still fun. Still meaningful. Still 100% SG.

Why I’m Doing This Now

Truthfully? Because I miss it.

I miss the excitement of welcoming new reps. I miss the energy of getting to know someone’s story and helping them feel seen and celebrated through every session.

The old version of the program served me beautifully. It gave me Abby, who was one of my very first reps—and whose wedding I now get to photograph. It gave me teens I’ve watched grow into incredible adults.

I’ll never forget those seasons.

But I also knew I couldn’t keep growing the program the same way. It needed boundaries. It needed structure. It needed a vision that matched where I am now as an artist and business owner.

This new version is just that: heart-forward, creatively focused, and rooted in experience.
